Winter

Hi! I have another poem for you people persons! It’s November now and pretty cold (snow on forecast!) so this time it is a winter poem!

Winter

Howling winds, shattered ice

sparkling silver snows entice

creaking timbers moan and sigh

lifeless trees claw at the sky

a hooting owl

a lonely howl

nature’s gone to sleep

over the windows and through the grass the frostbitten ices creep

How did you like it?

  1. I really like it! Especially the lines:

    creaking timbers moan and sigh
lifeless trees claw at the sky

I only write poetry when I need prophecies or songs for a story, and even then it is hard. But I enjoy reading it.
